From 25th June to 29th June, the most important national exhibition and conference of Nigeria surveyors, NIS-AGM 2012 opened its entrance at Kwara Hotel, lorin. KOLIDA exclusive distributor in Nigeria, Universal Survey Services participated in this event on schedule with full preparations. Thousands of surveyors from different states came to join this exhibition. |

On 26th June, after one day preparation and invitations to users, “KOLIDA Nigerian User conference” was held at Ilorin Club, opposite to Kwara Hotel. Hundreds of surveyors came to conference. Lots of senior surveyors and graduates were pleased to have conversation with KOLIDA team. Mr. Olukayode Ekundayo firstly warmly welcomed new and old users which were more than one hundred members. Then he expressed his gratitude for users’ long-term support and interest in KOLIDA products, and he introduced this KOLIDA user conference procedure and content. On this land, almost 400 pcs total station were sold in the past years. Full product line has been supplied in Nigeria including RTK, singlefrequency GPS, Echo Sounder and other surveying products. | ||

| On next afternoon, more users came to the training conference, attracted by presentation “KOLIDA KTS-440RC Total Station” by Andy. The content focus on the technical feature and manipulations of KTS-440RC series total station. After the introduction, we arranged 2pcs KTS-440RC to do the off-site demonstration and field measurement. | ||

On 27th June, “What’s GPS and KOLIDA GNSS” speech is given by KOLIDA GNSS technician, Denzel Lee. Due to too many people came to the conference, we had to hold the lecture twice in one day. Users sat together and reviewed the evolution of GPS and knew about KOLIDA RTK receiver K9-T. It is a delightful beginning to promote RTK survey in Nigeria. | ||

Group photo of KOLIDA Nigerian Team Five days’ exhibition included off-site demonstration and training came to an end successfully with lots of fun. We were deeply touched by the gathering with hundreds of users. Nigeria is a beautiful country but in poverty. The country needs high quality surveying instrument with good price to be developed. KOLIDA is obligated to provide better products, technology and solutions to users. No doubt, this African trip is a new start for KOLIDA in Africa. In the future, KOLIDA will get closer to users and distributors. More stand-by support and policy would be brought to“The Front” in Africa. | ||
