Opening Ceremony of “Surveying Star” Competition

Mr. Zhai Yi, Chief Referee for surveying contest of NVSC (National Vocational Students Skill Competition), Mr. Shi Tiemao, Headmaster of Shenyang Architectural University, and some other governors and experts representatives guided this competition. More than 50 teams from over 20 Colleges and Universities attended  this competition, and make it most influential competition since its foundation.

This competition was started on Oct.18. All the teams were divided into three groups to compete for their surveying knowledge and skills. Most competitors        showed a good performance of advance preparation, surveying experience and operation skills for KOLIDA instruments and their high levels are praised by the    judges and guests.

Competitors Focusing on this Competition

After a series of fierce competition, all the team members gained good progress. Shenyang Architectural University gained First Price in Professional University   Student Group, Liaoning Provincial College Communications gain First Price in Professional College Student Group, and Dalian University of Technology gain First Price in Non-professionals Student Group.

Awards for the Winning Teams

During these competitions, KOLIDA held a series of display of surveying instruments, such Total Station KTS-442R6L, KTS-472R8L, KTS-462R8L, GNSS K9-T, K9TX, K96-T, CORS Net S8+, S9, and so on.

Many students are attracted by these instruments. KOLIDA technicians patiently demonstrated, and helped the students to operate them.

University Students “Surveying Star” Competition was started in 2006, and after 5 sections, its influence is becoming bigger and bigger, and more and more universities attached importance to it. The organizing committee confirms the next “Surveying Star” Competition would be held in University of Science and         Technology Liaoning.
